Smart LED Clock - Complete User Manual

Initial Setup Procedure

First-Time Setup:

1. Power Connection - Connect power, the clock will turn on

2. Enter WiFi Configuration Mode:

   · Press and hold THEME button for 5 seconds

   · Clock LEDs will glow orange

   · Open WiFi settings on your mobile

3. Connect to Clock WiFi:

   · Look for network named "SmartClock-XXXX"

   · Connect without password

4. Configure Home WiFi:

   · A configuration page will appear

   · Enter your home WiFi SSID and password

   · Click Save (will take some time to connect)

   · After reset, clock will display last 3 digits of gateway IP

   · Note: Custom color theme may hide IP, change theme then reset to see IP

5. Access Web Interface:

   · Open browser and type: http://192.168.4.1

   · Configuration page will open

Permanent Access Setup:

1. Note Permanent IP:

   · After connection, clock gets a permanent IP address

   · Example: 192.168.1.100

   · Note this IP address

2. Permanent Web Access:

   · Type clock IP in browser: http://192.168.1.100

   · Web control panel will open

Token Counter System

Token Mode On/Off:

· ON: Clock displays token count instead of time

· OFF: Clock displays normal time

· Web Control: Toggle via web interface

Token Controls:

1. Increase (+1): Click UP button

2. Decrease (-1): Click DOWN button

3. Direct Set: Enter 0-999 in input box, click SET

4. Reset: Click RESET button

Target Setting:

· Enter target number in input box, click "Set Target"

· Default Target: 999

Display Token:

· Click "Show Token" to display token count for 10 seconds

· Automatically returns to time display

Theme Changing Methods:

1. Web Interface:

   · Select theme directly from theme grid

   · Or click "Next Theme" button

2. Clock Button:

   · Press THEME button briefly

   · Each press cycles to next theme

Theme List:

1. Rainbow - Moving rainbow colors

2. Pulse - Soft blue pulsing effect

3. Digit - Each digit different solid color

4. Random - Random color changes

5. Alternating - Alternating digit colors

6. Warm - Warm white-yellow light (bulb-like)

7. Blue - Calm blue theme

8. Sparkle - White sparkle/twinkle effect

9. Wave - Ocean wave-like blue motion

10. Fire - Fire-like red-orange-yellow colors

11. Aurora - Northern lights colors

12. Green - Green nature-like theme

13. Purple - Purple/violet color

14. Sparkle R - Rainbow sparkle effect

15. Cyan - Turquoise/sea water color

16. Patriotic - Red, white, blue flag colors

17. Plasma - Plasma bulb-like color changes

18. Sunset - Sunset red-orange colors

19. Custom - Set your own colors

Custom Color Mode

Individual LED Color Control:

1. Select Custom Mode - Theme #19

2. Select LED - Choose LED number from grid

3. Set Color:

   · Use RGB sliders or input boxes

   · R (Red), G (Green), B (Blue) - 0 to 255

   · Note: For white color, use 254 instead of 255

4. Apply:

   · Set Color - Apply to selected LED only

   · Set All - Apply to all LEDs

   · Save - Save current settings

   · Load - Load previous settings

Brightness Control

Manual Brightness:

· 5 Levels: 0 (Off) to 5 (Full brightness)

· Web Control: Use slider

· Clock Button:

  · Press and hold THEME button for 2 seconds

  · Each press changes brightness level

Auto LDR Brightness:

· On/Off: Toggle switch

· Functionality:

  · Bright light: Lower brightness

  · Darkness: Higher brightness

  · Automatically adjusts

Countdown System

Automatic Countdown:

· Automatically activates at 11:59 AM and 11:59 PM

· Starts 60-second countdown

· First 30 seconds: White LEDs

· 30-11 seconds: Green LEDs

· Last 10 seconds: Red LEDs (emergency warning)

Countdown Effects:

· Count decreases every second

· LED colors change automatically

· Special animation at final seconds

After Countdown:

· 11:59 AM → Changes to 12:00 PM

· 11:59 PM → Changes to 12:00 AM

· Automatically updates RTC time

Colon Settings

Colon Blinking:

· ON: Colon blinks every second (12:30 → 12 30 → 12:30)

· OFF: Colon remains constantly lit

Time Settings

Set Time Methods:

1. Web Interface:

   · HH (Hour: 0-23), MM (Minute: 0-59), SS (Second: 0-59)

   · Click "Set Time" button

2. Mobile Sync:

   · Click "Sync Mobile" button

   · Automatically sets current mobile time

3. Clock Buttons:

   · HOUR button - Increase hour

   · MINUTE button - Increase minute

   · Each press increases by 1

RTC System:

· Uses Real Time Clock (RTC) module

· Maintains time during power loss

· Automatically converts to 12-hour format

System Tools

Show IP:

· Click "Show IP" button

· Displays IP address for 5 seconds

Restart System:

· Click "Restart" button - Complete system reboot

WiFi Reset:

· Click "Reset WiFi" - Deletes WiFi settings

· Returns to configuration mode

Factory Reset:

· Click "Factory Reset" - Restores all default settings

· Warning: All data will be erased!

LDR Sensor System

LDR Functionality:

· Measures light intensity

· Automatically adjusts brightness

· Darkness: 100% brightness

· Bright light: 20% brightness

LDR Value Reading:

· 0-100: Very dark

· 100-300: Dark

· 300-600: Normal light

· 600-800: Bright

· 800-1023: Very bright

Troubleshooting

WiFi Not Connecting:

1. Hold THEME button 5 seconds for config mode

2. Search for SmartClock-XXXX on mobile

3. If not found, press reset button for 10 seconds

Web Page Not Opening:

1. Check IP address

2. Type http://192.168.1.xxx in browser

3. Verify you're on same network

Incorrect Time:

1. Click "Sync Mobile" button

2. Check RTC battery

3. Set to 24-hour format

LEDs Not Lighting:

1. Check brightness level

2. Verify power connection

3. Change theme

Buttons Not Working:

1. Check if buttons are properly pressed

2. Change theme via web interface

3. Restart system

Countdown Not Working:

1. Check RTC time

2. Verify 24-hour format setting

3. Restart system
